I think a lot about optionality (in a very general sense, not investing) and what actions contribute to leverage in different situations. I think the most important question we can ask ourselves is Why (do x, with y person, etc.). And then to also be mindful of how the Why evolves as we grow and mature. Serendipity is passive but comes from conscious and deliberate action... Bit of a paradox.
