Today’s post is short and sweet; I was thinking about opinions I’ve formed about B2B SaaS offerings the last few years (as a builder, as an advisor, and as a user), and I wanted to share out just to see if they’re more widely held, obvious but true, totally counter-intuitive, or perhaps way off-base.
when you think about administration of your software by the customer, it's a misnomer (usually) to think that there is a full-time person dedicated to handling the configuration / deployment / support of your software on an ongoing basis - usually someone gets tagged with this "job" along with juggling many other duties (i.e. it's not their full-time role)
never heard the phrase "shadow IT" before, but it's brilliant and I'm stealing it
stole it from a friend in IT who used it to refer to all the stuff employees install on their work computers irrespective of official policy
Can you please elaborate on #5?
