It’s cheesy, but I’ve always thought there was a certain magic in reading the right book at the right time. This quote caught my eye recently and reminded me of a year of transitions I had a decade ago. In 2012, I went from scale at Amazon to scaling Twitter, came into my own as a manager, and had several life changes to boot. And I happened to read 3 books during that year that have shaped my approach to work (and life) over the last 10 years.
Great stuff. Regarding time management, did you catch @shreyas (Shreyas Doshi)'s Twitter thread on the topic - quite insightful and delves into those areas / approaches. https://twitter.com/shreyas/status/1492345140492472321?s=20&t=7LQBLPZWXD2Z06P2PgTD6A ... and funny enough he says he didn't enjoy The Effective Executive - but that's the magic, how we contextualize and absorb lessons always varies.

I had read this thread! But I don’t see where he comments on The Effective Executive?
Sorry it was elsewhere... https://twitter.com/shreyas/status/1247545108435632128
