The thing I am unsure is how to decide what percent allocation of your roadmap should be in each bucket. For example - How will it vary for mature product vs product on growth curve vs 0-1 product?
I wouldn't get too caught up in benchmarks - the first step is to actually measure how much you're actually investing into each bucket, make sure nothing is ever below the watermark, and have discussions within the team over time about what good / great looks like - your evolving strategy will dictate how much bucketing evolves, and my best advice is to keep it an active conversation vs surprise others (or be surprised by their expectations)
